About Nora
I follow pedagogical practices that I use in my own classroom. I have helped struggling students progress and grow as strong learners with the use of these structures.
I am a teacher so I am passionate about working with kids and providing them with the supports needed to help them grow in their academics/personal life.
I am currently a student teacher in a 6th grade ELA classroom. I graduated last May with my Bachelors of Arts and will be graduating in May 2020 with my Masters in Education for grades K-6.

I typically take a couple minutes to get to know my student both in his/her academic and personal life. This will allow me to gauge what type of learner the student is, whether it be visual, auditory or kinesthetic. In addition, it will help me recognize what interests the student so that I can modify the instruction to engage him/her. I usually follow a "I do, you do" or scaffolding structure in the way that I model the content and challenge the student to try on their own while also providing the necessary supports.
I typically work with students in grades K-8.
