About Lea
I am a senior at Pfeiffer University. Im a double major in Communications and Counseling and Human Services with a minor in English. I can do anything from MLA/APA formatting to creative writing and British literature. I have been a part of an Editing and Publishing staff where I have been a Poetry Editor and published a book. I have a passion for teaching students about English and I am willing to work on any project thrown my way. Not to mention, I can help with a great Resume and Cover Letter! I graduate this December with a Bachelors in Communications and Counseling and Human Services with a minor in English. I am on the Editing and Publishing staff at Pfeiffer where I was the Poetry Editor and published the 61st issue of The Phoenix. I have taken many courses on the study of English and British literature. In highschool, I took all AP English classes.

First, I will get a good scooe into what the students needs are. Are they a visual learner? Or do they need to record and listen to certain details? After that, I will ask the student what they struggle with the most and go from there. I'd love to work on specific assignments with them, but I am willing to look at different needs as well.

I have always struggled with writing papers and using correct grammar. Lea was very open to helping me and figuring out ways that would be beneficial to my learning needs. She wasn’t worried about presenting her skills, but more concerned about how to improve mine. I loved having her as a tutor, as she was very positive and worked hard to meet any goals I had made for myself.
