About Kara
My name is Teacher Kara.I have been a teacher for over 14 years. I am certified in Special Education, TESOL/TEFL and Curriculum and Instruction.
I am an enthusiastic, organized teacher that works towards meeting each child's needs. With your child, I will focus on songs, sentence patterns/grammar, free talk, vocabulary, phonics/pronunciation and reading within the subject area chosen. I love to use props/realia, total physical response (TPR), and digital props and rewards in the classroom. I think you will have great success in my classroom! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, gardening, nature walks and dancing.
I love seeing students enjoying class. I love seeing students become excited when they master a new skill.
