My typical process is to first get to know the student. I am very interested in what kind of person the student is so that I can know what kind of learning plans to apply. Secondly, I work with the student to highlight their strengths and weaknesses so that I can further improve their skills with their writing.
I have worked with students who have experienced domestic violence, homeless students and students who have learning disabilities. I have experience with a lot of students from different backgrounds and different ways of learning.
I would advise them to make sure the teacher they're hiring is patient and has experience with students with different ways of learning.

2) If I don't get help, will I fail this assignment?

I HATE ENGLISH! that’s what I said before I worked with ms.Clark, I had midterms coming up and was really struggling in my English 101 course. I was looking up tutors online and I met ms.Clark. At the time she did home visits and she made a learning plan that fit my needs and matched my due date. She really helped me and unlike most teachers, she made me feel like a friend and not just a student!
