She was very patient with me when I did not understand something. She gave me extra study resources that I used to learn in between sessions. Lauren tutored my son in preparation for the ACTs after we had some concerns regarding his scores on the practice test. I was immediately impressed with her professionalism and good work ethic. Our son tends rest on his laurels on academic subjects that do not interest him, however Lauren was able to role model and push him a bit to do his best. In the end, he scored very well. Initially the ACTs had us concerned about what college choices would be open to our son, however his progress during the sessions made me and my wife breath a little easier. Thanks, Lauren!

Lauren helped our son, Sam, to increase his ACT score from a 21 to a 26. Sam tends to struggle with reading and English. Lauren was able to explain the materials in an accessible way. She held Sam accountable in completing his homework but was also very warm and inviting. I was impressed with the fact that Lauren demonstrated knowledge and mastery of all of the sections of the test. She also helped to ease some of the pressures that Sam had been feeling.
