About Milana

I love to help fall in love with the things that they find difficult. Language is such a beautiful subject ...it is like listening to music. It is part of ourselves it is a tool we use to express ourselves in every aspect of our lives. It brings me immense joy and satisfaction to help people learn to express themselves without any fear

I got interested in teaching from my school days as I would be sent to teach the students of lower grades. I have also had the privilege to teach a few of my special needs students and I have to say they were my best students as they have taught me more than I could have ever taught them.

I have received training from my previous school and been in a teaching program for 6 months. I have also been equipped with teaching for kids with special needs

About the lesson

I would first make the student comfortable with me such that they don't feel like any question or doubt of theirs is too silly or irrelevant to ask. They can ask me any thing that they have a doubt in as it helps me to understand their strengths and weakness better.

I have taught students who find it a lot more difficult to learn specific subjects and who are weak at certain things and have successfully been able to help them overcome their fears and helped them achieve what they wanted to. I have also taught children who have dislexia and autism.

The teacher must never put to you down or call you incompetent if you do not know something. It could even be the most basic of things but if you have a doubt or did not understand something it is your right to ask and our duty to teach and not judge you and if their teaching method makes you feel uncomfortable or you feel belittled by them, then they are the ones who are incompetent. I would advice then to make sure that the teacher knows his or her subject throughly and to never ever hesitate to correct them in anyway if you feel they are in the wrong.
