About Tonna
I was a professional dancer--fascinated by biomechanics for my own efficiency of movement. I can't imagine doing anything else.
My degree was in Kinesiology. My major was exercise physiology. Before I went to college, I was a professional ballerina. I taught ballet and pilates. I got my ACSM certifaction for personal training after I graduated. Then I fell in love with yoga...I am a 500hr certified yoga teacher (teaching yoga since 2000).

I have an intake questionnaire or a PAR-Q depending on what my student has told me over the phone. And we are in constant communication as we move slowly through a practice and specific modifications.
I work well with intellectual types. My teaching/coaching style works well with people who care about why something works (or doesn't work). I've had professional dancers/gymnasts as well as clients with various knee/hip and spinal surgeries under their belt. I've helped people finish triathalons and ultra-endurance events. My favorite clients challenge me to use my brain to come up with creative solutions to problems. I'm extremely patient and I teach safety first.
Every adventure race I've ever done. I haven't done them in a while, but I have excellent memories of every single one.

I charge $120/hr...but if I can fit someone neatly into my schedule, I will offer them a deal (especially if they can meet off-peak hours, or close to my home, any nummber of other clients)
