Our goal is to make music lessons easy by bringing them to you! We value the importance of music education, but we understand the challenges that come with a busy family household! We want to make music a part of your life with no hassle! Our custom music lessons take place in the comfort of your own home, with convenient online scheduling and payment!
I have personally been teaching 22+ yrs. I got my first teaching positions at various local music stores. Most notably was Golden Music Center, where I taught 60 students a week. In 2001 I started Boulder Guitar Studio, and in 2014 I launched My Local Music Lessons to serve more students, on more instruments in more areas.
We make sure all our instructors have formal training, and experience teaching. We also make sure they pass a background check as per our technicians requirements on Amazon.com.

We asses skill level and ability, goals, favorite styles and design custom programs to help you reach your goals. We minimize the amount of extraneous info, so you can focus on the specific items you need to become proficient at YOUR favorite songs and styles.
we offer lessons for ages 6 and up, all styles and all levels from beginner to advanced
We make it easy, as we have already pre screened each instructor for qualifications, degree, credentials, affiliations, and background check. We take the guesswork out of who to hire so the student can enjoy, relax and dive in knowing they are getting the best quality instructors, who customize the program to suit their needs.
We offer opportunities for students to perform at the Boulder Creek Festival each year!
