About Eric
I have taught guitar for over 13 years. I have taught mainly private in home lessons but have also taught professionally with School of Rock, Guitar Center, Sam Ash, Zound Sounds, and the Sound Foundation. Youngest student has been 5 and oldest is currently 67!
I love teaching using the power of the SONG! Within the SONG, things like theory, scales, walks, dynamics, and more can all be learned in context. But within learning your favorite SONGS - you get VICTORY QUICKLY and feel and hear yourself playing some of your favorites that you may have thought you never would have been able to play!
I LOVE working with brand new students and live vicariously through the fresh new victories and experiences of the newcomer to guitar!
