About John
I started playing guitar in 1999 and started playing professionally in 2010. I've toured all over the country with Texas Country Artist, Casey Donahew and appeared on his albums, All Night Party, 15 Years: The Wild Ride, One Light Town, and Lost My Brothers Goat. I have taught lessons throughout my entire professional career becuase I absolutely love it. I love to pass along the things that I've learned and continue to learn. We can reach goals in a career, start from scratch, dig out of a playing rut, or get you ready to do a blues jam on a Wednesday night. Let's book a lesson today!!

I honestly love teaching. I spent so much time teaching myself that I wanted to share what I had learned with others. I get as much out of it as the students.
I have 22 years of experience playing music, 12 years of experience teaching privately and in a school, 10 years of touring, and have recorded many albums. I have a system that works, and the proof is in the great players that have taken lessons from me.

John is an awesome guitar teacher! Highly recommend him to any one across all experience levels. He develops the lesson to around what your goals are. Very knowledgeable, patient, and explains things very easily to understand! Phenomenal experience!
John has a very down to earth, thorough approach on teaching. He focuses on the important fundamentals and techniques while also considering where you’d like to go with your playing. He enjoys seeing progress just as much as you do.
I have learned more from two months of sessions than I have in three to four years of playing before. I would definitely recommend experiencing lessons with him first hand for a player at any skill level. He is willing to share everything he knows about guitar.
