About Marc
I've been playing guitar for almost 60 years, taking lessons, teaching myself. I play as part of a trio, Blue Country Fire, in the Upper County of Kittitas County, Washington State. Also a writer, woodblock print artist, and political activist.
I enjoy working with guitar students to learn the songs they like. My strengths are folk, fingerstyle acoustic, blues adn country blues, but I play an eclectic mix of all those plus some jazz and pop standards.
Music. Getting to help new guitar players accumulate the toolbox of chords, licks, bass runs, strums, picking patterns, learning to make musical choices.
I've been playing for almost 60 years, as a solo artist, as part of a duo and trio, and working with beginning and internediate students.
