Experienced tutor in Horseback riding in Austinburg, Michael offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Great with kids. Really explains safety and lets the kids be hands on. A very informational lesson for a great price. My daughter loves going to the barn. Such a beautiful atmosphere.

I liked that he explained why he was asking me for certain actions and walked me through how my body language and movements were communicating with the horse.

Calm. Professional. Thorough and all encompassing. He starts at the very basics and expands as your skill level increases. Bud, his Paint, is the embodiment of cool and easy.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of horses such as grooming, vet care, farrier, and training. He was able to help me in all these areas and also barn set up in addition to taking my first riding lessons as an adult with him. He is patient and has a great sense of humor. Mike was fabulous in working with my daughter and grandkids with riding lessons also!

My girls started with Mike 6 years ago. Mike is kind, compassionate and a wonderful teacher! My oldest daughter was timid and unsure of herself. She grew tremendously under Mike's coaching and now is the proud owner (at 15) of a rambunctious 6 year old Arabian. He brought the girls up to show level quality in both Western and English, hauling them to many shows early in the morning and bringing home a lot of Blue Ribbons! We would still be with Mike if he hadn't moved away from California! I would highly recommend Mike!
