About Jordan
My tutoring experience extends for over 8 years. I have tutored subjects as varied as AP History, Bar Exam Prep, Writing,General Law, SAT, LSAT, AP English, Spanish, Philosophy, etc.
I am a professor of law at Pacific Coast University and also serve on Bar Preparation programs for the California State Bar. My service stands out in that I my primary focus is to raise students' grades or test scores in order to help get them better results in college admissions, scholarships, or on the bar exam.
My teaching began immediately after I graduated from university where I became employed at private teaching companies. From there, I began accepting my own clients..
Receiving my Bachelor's in History from UC Merced, I graduated Highest Honors and immediately began tutoring in History. Subsequently, I graduated from the Chapman Universtiy School of Law. Currently, aside from tutoring, I am a practicing attorney.
I have tutored students for over 10 years in topics including Advanced Placement (AP) History, AP Language/Literature, LSAT preparation, Bar exam preparation, High school Spanish, college writing, and various other topics in the humanities and social sciences.
Throughout my time, I have brought students up from Cs to As, and helped countless students obtain a 5 on the AP European History and AP United States History exams.

When I first meet a new student, I evaluate his overall understanding as to the "direction" of the class. I ensure that the student understands the basic premises, and then work to discover what aspects of the class is causing their grade to suffer. I focus on pinpointing specific reasons the student is struggling, and addressing them accordingly.
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have tutored well-over 100 different students from middle school students to high school students all the way through college and graduate school students. Whether you are a high school student in need of help, a community college or university student in need of assistance, or a law school student in need of aid, I will be able to help raise your grade.
To ensure that the tutor is capable of raising your grade. While it is my philosophy that students must learn the material and understand it thoroughly, my primary goal is raising the student's grade or ensuring they pass a test with a high score. In today's academic climate, grades predict college admission and scholarship offers. Therefore, if a tutor is not focused on raising the grade, then that tutor is doing the student a disservice.
