About James

I've been training for the majority of my life and I have used what I know in real situations. I love the fluid mobility that training gives you, and coupled with chi gung, you can enjoy movements that I imagine only athletes enjoy.

I love the fact that almost anyone can benefit from this. Depending on the level of commitment someone dedicates. You can learn to use your own body the way it was meant to be used. Fluidity, coordination, and power that can only be achieved through practiced training.

Mingling with other instructors at seminars pretty much motivated me to want to teach students of my own

Boxing and martial arts. Bak mei and southern mantis mainly. Silat training came later for me. Sparred with some NY folks who were adept with 52 blocks. Wide variety of self protection empty hand skills.

About the lesson

Finding out if potential students have previous experience so we can find out what type and frequency of training they need

All types. Mostly young adults with an interest in learning self protection

Be prepared to train hard and often. But make it interesting and fun

Moving back to Ohio

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Everyone is different. But most often is the ability to physically challenge yourself to improve your physique and fitness levels
