About Sergio
Hi, my name is Sergio, MMA fighter and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
With over 15 years of experience in competing internationally, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that I'm eager to share with you. As a former US Olympic Training Center athlete, and an MMA competitor, I have had the opportunity to train with some of the best coaches and athletes in the world now my goal is to share it with others.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology which has provided me with a solid foundation in human anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition.
I have a real life experience in international competition as a former US Olympic athlete.

Overall, my education and training have provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively coach individuals of all ages and levels, from beginners to professional athletes, in martial arts and strength training

To work with a new student, I begin with an initial assessment to understand their skill level, fitness level, and any injuries.
From there we set a plan to achieve those results guaranteed.
I work with beginners as well as professional athletes developing not only their Physical strength and cardiovascular system but as well as the mental aspects needed to stay motivated and push yourself through workouts.
Find someone that will keep you accountable and constantly challenge you not only physically but mentally.

Everyone was so very friendly. Looking around for where we needed to go we had students stopping to ask if we needed help. Not students working but on their way to class. Staff was friendly and really acted like they wanted to help. Very pleased.
I went to NMU in the 60's, It has grown and changed with the times and following it, I find it offers an excellent value in education.
We are so incredibly pleased at the quality education and amazing experiences our son is having at NMU.
I was excited to go to NMU and really liked how it felt like a community. While the COVID-19 outbreak is tragic and scary, NMU has been exceptional in their response to this. They have done a great job of listening to their students, keeping us informed, and trying to keep things as close to normal as possible. It is clear that the administrators and faculty genuinely care about their students and I am very happy with the response to this unprecedented situation.
Back when I went to Northern, they had excellent professors, an awesome bookstore, all of my classes fit perfectly into my schedule, and the food in the cafeteria was great! Not only that, 3 out of the 4 of us, ended up going to NMU.
It is a beautiful campus all year round. I liked that it didn't have a ton of people and made life long friends. And you knew everyone on campus. the profs were great.View more recommendations
