About Melissa
I have 6+ years in tutoring as I have tutored middle school, high school, and college level math subjects. I have worked with a variety of ages of students. I can teach lessons step-by-step so students can learn to solve the problems on their own. I am currently a student at Wharton/University of Pennsylvania studying math, accounting, and finance.
Starting my freshman year of high school, I started teaching multiple middle school robotics teams. I taught the students skills such as robotics, computer science, and coding. I started tutoring students in math after joining the Math Honor Society my sophomore year of high school.
I'm currently studying towards my bachelor's degree in accounting and math at the Wharton Business School. Through my participation in the National Honor Society and Math Honor Society in high school I gained experience tutoring students in math subjects including Algebra 1 Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Calculus BC (scored 5), AP Statistics (scored 5), and Multivariable Calculus. I also took a math proofs class at Princeton University.
