About Jerah
I have been working with children in a professional setting, whether tutoring or nannying or babysitting, for nine years now. I'm currently working on my degree in Child Development and will have my Associate of Arts in Teaching by the end of the summer. My tutoring experience also includes working with special needs children, specifically students with dyslexia and developmental delay. I also have experience working with older students who need to complete remedial work or strengthen foundational subjects.
Education is far more than a grade point average or rote memorization of a list. Instead, it is meant to be a constant, never-ending process of self-improvement and ever-increasing knowledge base. The goal of the instructors of any student should be to 1) give them a solid foundation of knowledge, 2) help them learn how to acquire new knowledge, and 3) teach them how to use said knowledge.
I've been tutoring for several years now. I'm also working on a degree in Child Development and an AAT in Early Childhood Education.
