About Daniel
I have been math tutoring since I was a kid and started to help out all my friends and brothers with their homework. As I got older, I started to do this on a more official basis through family friends, and then at my University, I ended up tutoring students in such advanced disciplines as Differential Equations and Linear Algebra up to more abstract maths. I have experience tutoring all different age ranges, from children up to college students.
The spark of light a student gets on their face when they finally intuitively understand something that just seemed totally nonsensical to them before has always encouraged me to continue helping more and more people see that behind all the anxiety that math can bring about is a whole beautiful world.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Honors from the University of Maine with degrees in Math and Art History. During my tenure at university, I kept a 3.9 GPA. On top of this, I have been tutoring students on a professional basis since I was a teen.

I first like to get acquainted with all of my students, before gauging their interest in the subject, and broaching what kind of problems they have been having lately. We will usually then go over the subject troubling them and slowly walk through a few exercises to get them better acquainted with each step of the process.
