My favorite things are learning and teaching.
There was not a graduate program at the small school where I studied, so they used undergraduates as teaching assistants. I agreed to teach astronomy lab, not knowing that there wouldn't be a professor there and that I would have to do the lectures and demonstrations. I was terrified of speaking in front of a group, but after trying it, I loved it!
