About Deborah
My lessons are always customized for the student. It is all about the interests they have, the goals they want to reach and the manner in which they learn. There are many ways to get where you want to go. We can go straight ahead, diagonally, backward, sideways or even cork-screw up! The route doesn't matter. What matters is enjoying the process and achieving results. I can help you do that.
I love the challenge of "figuring out". It is a good day when I've set myself an art problem and I've worked through how to get the results I want. It doesn't always happen in a day, sometimes it takes longer, but every day, I enjoy puzzling through my latest art goal with pencil or pen, paintbrush or chalk.
With math tutoring I employ every strategy to create understanding and competency for my pupil. I can get very creative with math as well as art.
I owned a screen printing company for 30 years and was responsible for most of the artwork we produced for shirts. I have also taken many advanced wartercolor workshops with world renowned painters. But most importantly, I love creating.
