About Miriam
I am passionate about helping students to understand the subject at hand and LOVE it!
I have a Civil Engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona. I enjoyed every math class I took throughout my coursework.
Throughout my education in college and university, I have tutored math on the side.
I will make sure to help you love what you are studying 😊
I also speak Arabic as a first language, I moved to America during my teenage years and have always wanted to keep my language fresh! I speak and write Arabic fluently and will be glad to help you do that as well! ☺️
What I enjoy the most about my work is the student's "aha" face when they finally get it! I always look forward to this moment.
This is the moment when I know my student is one step closer to their goal and achieving their dreams.
As a civil engineer, I realize that anyone is able to achieve a keen understanding of the subject if they actually have an effective teacher. Someone who can break things down patiently and explain the building blocks that make up the complexity of the subject.
I have a Civil Engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona.
