About Milos
I teach college mathematics with a focus on sense-making and reasoning. The traditional approach has failed us in our mathematical thinking and I am here to help you make sense of math by appealing to your intuition so that you can unleash the natural mathematician within you. Together, we can answer the how's and why's of math. I am confident that I can help you in whatever level of mathematics you find yourself in.
I love connecting with learners. I have over 17 years of experience to back my belief that we are all natural mathematicians. However, I recognize that our traditional educational system makes us think otherwise. I love making math accessible to learners at all levels. I am happy to make your tutoring experience as simple or in-depth as you wish.
I have a M.S. in Statistics and over 17 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have taught mathematics at the community college for over 15 years.

I like to get a sense of where the student is with his/her current understanding. I recognize the value of a student's time, so I am able to do this carefully, thoughtfully, and quickly. With 17 years of combined teaching and tutoring experience, I am able to naturally detect where a student is struggling and to then correct this challenge with appropriate "just-in-time" tools and techniques.
