About Chris
You will receive personalized tutoring on concepts that you do not understand or just need a better explanation and we will go through every single detail step by step, making sure you understand everything throughout and I will make sure you have a clear picture of what is going on by asking you questions. We will keep going until you understand the topic you are having problems with.
I enjoy sharing knowledge as I have struggled with concepts in the past and I have been lucky enough to have some amazing teachers to help me every time I am unclear about something. This is something I appreciate and want to give back to someone else.
I have taught as a hobby whilst in university, as it is something I enjoy and that I strongly feel confident in as I am good at it.
I have studied Maths and Further Maths in High School and now that I study Mechanical Engineering I did two maths modules averaging 97% in them. Most importantly though, I have always given explanations to peers about maths concepts and they have always understood them when I explained to them because I always find a way to simplify things and start at a point where the progression to the more advanced concept is smooth and understandable.

Identifying the student's needs is clearly the first step and then I will tailor the lessons accordingly. I can do anything from explaining entire chapters from scratch or focusing on a particular concept and exploring it in as much detail as the student wants. The process will be very clear and I will provide the student with notes if requested.
