About Empowered
I love helping students grow in math with fun exercises and games based on their own level. I create a specific plan based on the type of learner the student is to help them reach their full potential. I have been tutoring for the past year and it has been one of the most fun and inspiring experiences. As a computer science student I know the vaule of a soild foundation in math and look forward to inspire more student to join STEM field!
I love to see students find joy in math. I love math beause more times than not there are 2 or more ways to explain or solve a problem. The highlight of my work is when a student starts to see math as a fun game and becomes egar to learn more. Also with a good math foundation there is nowhere to go but up!
My niece need help with math and I started to help her. I realized I had fun doing it so I started to tutor family friends children and from there I applied for a job over the summer and worked in a tutoring program.
I have been tutoring in math for the past year and I am currently taking calculs in college.

1. I have the student do a test to determine what kind of learner they are.
2. I give a mini quiz, usually in the format of a game, to test the students knowledege on the subject.
3. I create a learnign plan based on the results of the tests above.
4. I renforce basic Knowledge and then work the student up to more complex problems.
