About Jasleen
I have always had a passion for teaching. It is not my main career goal so I would love to be able to continue it on the side. I am also a college student studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington so tutoring is a great experience for me (freshman in college but counted as a sophomore due to the college credit I earned while in high school).

- Tutored a 6th grader in math from a local elementary school whose BIPOC students needed help during my junior year of HS
- Tutored an Algebra 3/4 student during my senior year of HS

First have an initial meeting to understand the student's current struggles and goals. It is vital for me to know what a student would like to achieve in order to give them the proper support they need.
I also like to ask for any of their class material to use as reference for where they would like to be and what sort of material they are learning in class.
