About Aniya
I am currently a fourth-year college student at CSULB and have been through all AP and honors courses throughout high school. I have worked as a Supplemental Instructor for Physiology at CSULB for 2 years, facilitating discussions and activities for dozens of college students who need extra help with the class. With my high school and college experience, I believe I can be a benefit many students even in small ways!
Helping people understand topics they were once struggling and frustrated with is a very satisfying process. Helping alleviate stress as well as help someone learn at the same time is the most important part.
I have worked as a Supplemental Instructor for Physiology at CSULB for 2 years. In this position, it is my responsibility to facilitate classroom discussions for over 60 students to aid in their mastery of the course content for Human Physiology. I created weekly lesson plans and curricula to provide to students using strategies that emphasize peer-assisted learning and group work. I supplied study skills to students that can be used for other college courses as well as mastering course content in Human Physiology in order to instruct students.

Ask where they feel they are struggling and why, view their thought process, have them take me through the steps they would take, and be sure to be able to identify mistakes being made. Then, re-attempting the problem, I would question the student along the way to guide them to the correct answer.
