About Gillian

Hello, I am Gillian and math tutor for k-8. I am here to make math a little less complicated for students. As a very frustrating subject, I want to be able to allow the students to work at their own pace, and communicate to me what learning styles or easier for them to understand in order to get the best outcome out of our tutoring sessions. I want students to feel heard and to understand the content being given to them. I want them to ask as many questions as they need, whether it be the same question multiple times, there are no dumb questions. Taking as much time is needed for the student to understand the content work will allow the process to not be so frustrating and help the students to handle heavy loads of work that their classes may give them.
