About James
I have 29 years teaching all levels of Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science at a top High School. I have extensive experience tutoring in all these areas, as well as SAT/ACT Math and Science, and all levels of Algebra.
I have a Masters from Columbia Univ Teachers College and a Bachelors from Brandeis University.
I am a laid back guy who makes nervous science students comfortable. I also teach AP courses and get kids ready to ace that exam!
I simply love science, and love helping students see that science is a powerful idea.
In addition to my Masters in Teaching, I was trained in SAT prep by Marmont Academics and Huntington Learning Center. I have tutored all levels in the physical sciences (chem, physics) and algebra.
