About Lauren
Specialize in mathematics tutor with experience for all ages.
I began teaching through the college I went to. A professor suggested that I become a tutor because of my passion to help others and ability to adjust my technique in order for all students to understand the material.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and have tutored math for the past 3 years, both through a learning center and independently.

I like to understand the students background within education and how they learn best. Once understanding this, I am able to develope the most effective teaching technique.
I have worked with all students from Kindergarder to 12th grade.
Most recently one of my students came up to me and thanked me because they received their first A in mathematics.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what they do not understand about a certain topic. The student show go back into the material of where they understood and work from there. I find that most math is connected, so finding where they last understood will give me the knowledge of where to start my teachings.
