About Yuan
Considering that I'm a junior in college working towards my architecture Master's Degree and licensure, I consider myself more of an upperclassman than a tutor to the students. I have been in their shoes, including taking online tutoring sessions, so I am able to relate and help them on a more personable level.
I enjoy helping others as much as I can. Outside of academics, my extracurriculars and hobbies include having my own art shop and being a Student Recruiter for my college. Therefore, on a weekly basis I give tours and advice to perspective students and their families about college decisions and advice.
I am currently a third year architecture student working towards a Master's Degree and architect license. When I was back in high school, I went through these online tutorings so I know what it is being the student. I also have the experience of teaching test prep sessions through my schools and clubs. My test taking strengths are specifically in English and Math as I made a 35 and 32 on those subjects on the ACT, respectively. I have always been a Honor Roll student so I know the tips and experience to help others become one as well.

I would get to know the student and his/her strengths and weaknesses first and then having a plan to work on the problems through a series of practice tests or problem solving tips. I understand the frustration of not understanding certain subjects and the pressure of trying to meet certain requirements as I was once in those shoes so I aim to make my sessions as personable as possible.
