About Zachary
I have my Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and enjoy helping others understand material in mathematics and the sciences after having much exposure to it myself. I have 2.5 years of formal tutoring experience and have also held multiple positions as a Teaching Assistant for engineering courses.

Finally having the lightbulb go on when tackling problems is rewarding, and being able to help others experience this moment is what motivates me. Even as a tutor, working with students helps me to view problems under a different light and broaden my understanding. The more ways I learn to look at a problem, the more effectively I can guide students towards success.
I was always a helpful resource among my Engineering peers, so I obtained a tutoring position to expand and assist students of any background. My desire to provide academic support for others likely stems from my goal to become a college professor and influence students to reach their full potential.
