About Amay
- I love to teach and learn from teaching. I believe that, as a tutor, I have just as much knowledge and experience to gain as a tutee.
- I am young and have just gone through the modern schooling system. I will be able to relate to the issues that a tutee will face more easily due to the recency of my schooling.
-My goal is for the tutee to learn concepts, not memorize formulas
I fundamentally believe that I have just as much to gain by tutoring as the tutee. Throughout school, I often challenged myself to teach a difficult concept to someone as a way for me to understand that concept thoroughly.
- I am currently an engineering student at a top-20 university
- I completed the full calculus curriculum at my high school
- I recieved a 5 on the AP BC Calculus test
- I recieved a perfect score on the SAT Math II subject test
