About Ryan
When I tutor, I focus on the student. I believe that accommodating the student is essential to growing and learning more efficiently. Because of this, I am very understanding and compassionate. I also work to guide the students through problems rather than giving them an answer without an explanation to maximize understanding.
Having tutored in the past multiple times, the most satisfying part of the work is when a student finally comprehends a rather difficult concept through guidance and hard work. I really enjoy this because I believe that this is what teaching is about - growth and perseverance.
I have taken many courses and am working towards a degree related to mathematics and computer science. I have spent countless hours learning and teaching math from Algebra to Calculus.
