About Ethan
I am a senior at Breck High School in Golden Valley. I specialize in helping middle and high school student in math and science (specifically physics and chemistry). Being a peer tutor at my high school for two years now, I have experience helping students through a wide variety of strategies including weekly sessions, online videos, and occasional meetings before a test.
In math, I am currently taking AP Calculus BC. I feel comfortable helping students with topics from AP Calc AB on down. Last year, I received a 5 on AP Calc AB test.
In science, I am currently taking AP Physics C. I took AP Chemistry last year and received a 5 on that exam as well. I am comfortable tutoring for physics students below the AP Physics C class and can help all high school chemistry students.
I have found that the tutoring process is one that helps both sides. It is not merely one person spilling information onto another as some conventional classrooms settings can feel like. Instead, I see that my sessions are an exchange of conversation between the two parties which benefits both myself and those I'm helping. It is this exchange and unconventional learning that I find most useful in the real world.
