About Hallee
After learning about child development in college, I found my passion for helping children learn. I found this passion while working with kids in CPS. At their school, I worked with them one on one to achieve their academic standards. Not only just helping them along to their next grade level, but actually watching them learn and understand things that the typical education system failed to do for them. I believe one on one education is the true way to help kids learn and see them grow.
I have a college degree and credit course for my teaching certificate. I am a substitute teacher and a private math tutor.
I enjoy most seeing that light bulb go off for a student when they understand something and they feel accomplished and proud.
I am a substitute teacher for all grade levels, four years of college courses related to child development, and tutoring experience.

My process is: understanding the best way a student learns first. (Visual, hands on, etc) from that, I use materials in that way to help a student learn a certain topic. Going over step by step, asking the student if they follow, and then continuing the lesson. It is important to know how a student learns first to keep them focused.
