About Lourdes
Lourdes Rubio has been an educator for over 15 years. I am a native Spanish speaker and fully fluent in English. I hold a teaching license in both languages and have taught at HS and college levels. My experience and years of teaching makes me unique since I have learned to work with many age groups, cultural backgrounds and approaches as well. As a former special education teacher and counselor, I am quick at identifying which learning style works best for my students.
I hold a MASTER's in Education, a MA in Counseling, a certification as a professional Interpreter and Translator and have co-authored books on interpreting, and education. I'm fully bilingual in SPanish and Englich and can communicate in French and know ASL
