Bobbi is an excellent teacher. She has a calmness about her that puts you at ease. This was my first oil painting experience, and I picked up the brush and held it like a weapon! By the middle of the class I had relaxed, learned basic brush technique, and was actually painting! When the class ended I had a completed painting that now proudly hangs in my home. Bobbi is very knowledgeable about the Bob Ross method and is very encouraging, instilling confidence and can do attitude in her students. We have fun while learning in a relaxing atmosphere and take home a complete project at the end of the session. We are pleased and surprised at what we can accomplish.

I have shared Bobbi’s Painting Class with family and friends many times. What I love is that you arrive at her home, with no materials - Bobbi supplies everything, including offering delicious treats while you are painting. Bobbi is very patient, and when you feel you have made a “mistake”, she is there to help you fix it. I had no previous painting background, but walked out with a completed canvas in 3 hours! This is a fun and stimulating class, and I would highly recommend it, even to teenagers.

After one class with Bobbi, I was hooked! It was great to start with no experience and leave with a frameable painting. She made sure each student had enough personal attention, and keeps her class size at only 4 students. She painted a bit, The we painted a bit, and then we progressed to each next step. She makes it easy enough to succeed, challenging enough to need to pay attention and try. The time flies by. I think I’ve taken well over a dozen classes, and each time is a wonderful experience.
