About Julie
The Fitness Lounge is a private, personal training and nutritional therapy facility in Coon Rapids, Minnesota that provides individual and buddy training. Also offered is online training for those who travel often or for those who live in an area with few fitness facility options. We customize programs to help you reach your health and fitness goals whether it be weight loss, strength training, or simply to gain more flexibility and balance. Our nutritional advice is based on a properly prepared, whole-foods diet. While most personal trainers have a general nutrition degree, at the Fitness Lounge, we have incorporated Nutritional Therapy. With this approach, we have tools to be more individualized with nutrition. We care about every individual who walks through the door, and we will do everything in our capacity to encourage a healthy and prosperous lifestyle.
Julie has always prioritized maintaining an active lifestyle, but it wasn't until she embarked on backpacking treks and trail-running expeditions in the Pacific Northwest that she realized fitness could also be fun. She now strives to help her clients meet their individualized fitness goals in an enjoyable way. She thrives on helping individuals see their worth and their potential. Outside the gym, she enjoys subjecting her family and friends to an array of kitchen experiments, traveling to new destinations, and revisiting roots in her rural hometown of Prairie Farm, WI.
