About Darren
We prodive Sports Performance Training for professional and amateur athletes in every sport. The state of the art training protocol and individually designed, sports specific programs have been used to develop champions on every level, from high school to world champions.
A key component to the high level of success experienced by Optimum Pro-Am Sports clients is that training sessions are conducted one-on-one by Coach Williams.
Coach Darren K Williams is a USAW Level 1 Weightlifting Coach and a USAW Sports Performance Coach. He earned his coaching certifications while studying and training at the United States Olympic Training Center. He is also a seven time Weightlifting State Champion, American Masters National Champion, and a AAU World and International Champion and record holder.
All my life I have been a competitive athlete. I have trained with great strength and conditioning coaches from all around the world. I felt the need to share all of the training knowledge I compiled along the way.

I have worked with athletes from all levels. I have coach on the middle school, high school, and semi-professional levels.
I would advise anyone looking for training to visit and speak with several strength and conditioning coaches and make sure you find one that is knowledgeable and is a good fit for them.
I recently won the USAW American Masters National in 2019. At that Meet I also set three American Records.
