About Anna
Anna Padilla Ther-X in Manhattan, NY provides individualized programs that blend physical therapy and exercise to support safe, efficient progress from rehabilitation to performance. Led by Dr. Anna Padilla, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (Northeastern University), NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and StrongFirst kettlebell instructor, the practice bridges the gap between clinical care and fitness.
Ther-X begins with an initial evaluation and builds a plan around each client’s current status, limitations, and goals. Services address pain, soft tissue immobility, and joint dysfunction, with a focus on mobility and stability to return to sport, health, and daily demands. The practice also offers higher-level coaching in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and physique training, as well as prenatal and postpartum physical therapy and personal training.
Clients range from youth to older adults, from those recovering from injury to active individuals seeking structured performance training. Dr. Padilla’s athletic background includes Division I rowing, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, bodybuilding, triathlon racing, and StrongFirst methodologies, informing practical, goal-driven programming.
