About Santina
Hi there! My name is Santina and after working on Broadway, Off-Broadway, touring the country and the world, I am back and ready to share my knowledge with you. I have experience across many styles/genres of music as well as performance styles so I have the ability to meet my students wherever they are. I really tailor my lessons to meet your goals no matter how big or small and am always available via email for advice and check ins outside of your lesson time.
I am convinced that music is the ultimate healing tool and the thread that connects us all. Music is universal and breaks the barriers of language because it's really about conveying a feeling or emotion. I want to give you the tools to tackle any song you're presented with healthfully and effectively. Together we can make magic.
I've always loved teaching and over the past six years I have refined my voice and vocal technique as I've transitioned into extremely vocally demanding leading roles in performance. As this transition and maturing have happened organically I am now excited to be sharing my knowledge and gift of singing full time.
I currently hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory and am an active member of the Actor's Equity Association. Selectively, I've performed in Mamma Mia! on Broadway as well as various productions Off-Broadway, regionally and internationally. I've worked with top directors and choreographers in the theatre industry as well as across the globe.

The first order of business is finding out your vocal goals and aspirations. I then craft an individualized lesson plan to achieve them. I really focus on creating a solid technical foundation starting with breath work, moving into vocal range expansion and placement, and then applying that to a specific song, style of music and ultimately performance.
I've worked with students of all kinds ranging in ages and vocal abilities. I believe that it is never too late to craft, refine and share your true voice!
Make sure you are walking away from each lesson having learned at least one new thing. You should have worked just as hard physically as you did mentally during your lesson and be able to vocalize your take aways by the end. Also, do your homework and make sure your teachers are experienced professionals who have knowledge of or have personally worked in the industry.
Where do I begin!? Performing on Broadway in Mamma Mia! has to be my most proud accolade but most recently, I performed with Disney on Classic while touring Japan with The Orchestra Japan. I performed the role of Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin and was fortunate enough to close the show's Encore with the first ever live orchestral performance of "Speechless" from the new live action movie. Santina is the most amazing vocal coach ever. She has helped me improve a lot in the short time I have been with her. She is also one of the sweetest people I know and I always look forward to my lessons with her each week.
As someone still in high school I started my lessons little over half a year ago, and yet despite having years of being part of the high school it only took a few lessons for great improvement, I knew I could have done better and these lessons did more than that. I now feel proud of my voice and how much I have improved and I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone who wants to help improve their singing abilities.
