About Kate
I love the Spanish language and want others learning it to enjoy it as well! I graduated in spring 2020 with a BA in Spanish and International Trade. I have 8 years of Spanish experience and have tutored for high schoolers and college students through my university's tutoring program.
I love watching students have a "lightbulb" moment. It is extremely rewarding knowing that I'm helping garner a deeper understanding and love for the language.
During my last year-and-a-half of college I was a tutor for high school and college-level Spanish courses; I have studied Spanish for the last 8 years and graduated last spring with a BA in Spanish & International Trade. I am currently living in Spain to try and improve my Spanish fluency.

I like to hear the student's perspective about what they are learning at the time and what still confuses them. I then take the topic that students want more help with and try to break it down into a more manageable task. My sessions are very interactive; that is, I won't teach so much as facilitate learning. I engage the student with questions and examples that challenge them and make them think, and guide them to the correct answers and ways of thinking.
I have worked with high schoolers, college students, and adults.
