About Luz
Knowing two languages open doors for me. I want to share this knowledge with others so their opportunities can broaden too.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Therefore, I am a native Spanish speaker and writer. I have taken k-12, undergraduate and graduate education in Spanish. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master degree in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Teaching. I am also a certified teacher by the Department of Education in Puerto Rico and by the state of Maryland. I currently work at White Oak Middle School where I teach Science.
