Hello! I'm Karl. A highly trained private professional tutor with 8 years of experience, specializing in all sections of the SAT and ACT Prep. My test prep program focuses on improving fundamentals, content, and time management using uniquely formulated strategies for each section of the test. After taking my diagnostic, I create a personalized program for each of my students which has allowed them to increase their scores an average of 200 points on the SAT and 5 points on the ACT. I pride myself on having a lengthy list of important tricks and strategies that you are highly unlikely to find elsewhere as I have developed most of them myself!
Over the years I have helped over 75 students attend their dream schools, attain 1M+ in scholarship money, and even gain acceptance into Ivy League schools. I have graduated with a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan (UofM) with the highest honors (GPA 4.0). I personally scored a 1580 out of 1600 on my SAT. Due to my experience, I can instinctively figure out a lot about my students’ weaknesses and rebuild their fundamentals. I can teach you a lot of mental math techniques which are not in any book.

I have given SAT/ACT/GRE and have achieved exceptional scores. I have completed my Masters from one of the best universities in the country- the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Graduated with the highest honors and a 4.0 GPA. I also offer peer advising and coaching in my university.

We initially discuss the current academic performance and expectations of the student in terms of target scores. Over the first week I identify the strengths and weaknesses of the student and accordingly push them to improve their areas of weaknesses. The most important thing is to strengthen their fundamentals so that they have a strong base over which we could build. I also focus on preparing the student mentally for the exam and teaching strategies that will help them with time management. I work with personalised resources as well as common books to make the student strong in every required concept. I also give the students a series of tests consisting of real test questions. I can be contacted anytime via mail/phone to answer the students doubts ensuring we cover more ground during the regular sessions.
I have worked with high school and undergraduate students from various cities for SAT, ACT and GRE preparation.

Details
I understand that private coaching by a tutor is expensive and not everyone can afford it. Hence, I have started this venture to help the students achieve what they dream of. I offer the best rate in the market and are completely reasonable. I add a personal touch to the lectures and wouldn't shy away from putting in extra hours for our student at no additional cost. The students would also get free access to $300+ additional resources for their reference.
