About Kyria
I hold a teaching credential from the state of California, and I've been an English Language Arts teacher for 20 years, with experience in a classroom as well as online. I have extensive experience teaching all grade levels, including adults.
I love reading, and I am passionate about helping others develop and express their ideas in a cohesive and organized way.
I've been a professional copy editor and proofreader of academic manuscripts and journal articles for 30 years; I'm highly trained at identifying and revising errors in grammar, punctuation, and clarity.

My favorite part of teaching is being able to share my love of language. I love being able to demonstrate, even within the constraints of grammar, how flexible and expressive language really is. People feel a great sense of empowerment when they can confidently express their ideas, and I enjoy creating a learning environment that supports their efforts.
