About Elaine
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, having worked with around 150 students successfully. I teach students of all levels and focus on helping them develop both technical skills and confidence. My teaching approach is student-centred, based on communication, creativity, and adaptability.
I customise lessons according to each student’s ability and goals, ensuring smooth and consistent progress. I focus on essential techniques such as breath control, tone clarity, and finger coordination. I make my classes interactive and enjoyable by including exercises, songs, and creative learning methods.
I am patient and supportive, helping students overcome challenges with simple explanations. I also teach basic music theory to strengthen their understanding. My goal is to make flute learning effective, engaging, and rewarding.

My flute teaching approach focuses on understanding each student, adapting lessons, and creating a positive and flexible learning environment. I aim to make learning simple, effective, and enjoyable.
I start with basic techniques such as breath control, tone clarity, and finger coordination. These are developed through regular practice and guidance.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons according to the student’s progress. Collaboration is encouraged through discussions and interactive learning.
I create a supportive environment where students feel confident and motivated. Along with flute, I also teach music theory and rhythm to strengthen overall skills.
