About Diya

Hi, I’m Diya, a friendly and patient female tutor based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Linguistics and have over 3 years of experience teaching primary and middle school students across British, American and CBSE curriculums.

I specialise in helping children aged 6 to 14 (Grades 1–8) build strong English skills, from phonics and reading to grammar, creative writing and confident speaking. I also teach General Science and use arts and crafts to make lessons fun, hands-on and easy to remember.

My linguistics background helps me quickly spot and correct pronunciation, spelling and sentence-structure mistakes. I speak English, Urdu and Hindi, so I can support children who are still building their English. Parents choose me because I’m reliable, I keep them updated on progress, and their children enjoy coming to class.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your child’s grade, school curriculum and learning pace. In a typical session, we:

• Review school homework and clear up any difficult topics
• Practise phonics, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary
• Build writing skills: sentences, paragraphs, stories and essays
• Explain Science concepts with visuals, simple experiments and real-life examples
• Prepare for school tests and term exams with short quizzes and revision

I use a student-centred approach with clear explanations, interactive activities and creative projects, so children understand concepts instead of memorising them. Parents receive regular feedback on progress and next steps.

Lesson options:
• Home lessons: available for families in Musaffah and nearby areas (within 3–5 km)
• Online lessons: live classes on Zoom or Google Meet for students anywhere in the UAE

Book a first lesson so we can assess your child’s level and create a learning plan together.
