About Kourosh

I am a First Class Biochemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) as well as Mathematics, alongside almost all other GCSE subjects.

With a strong academic foundation in the sciences, I have developed a deep understanding of scientific concepts and enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop a genuine understanding and confidence in Biology and Chemistry.

As a First Class Biochemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham, I specialise in helping GCSE and A-level students break down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable ideas. I focus on building strong foundations, improving exam technique, and teaching students how to apply their knowledge effectively to achieve their target grades.

Every lesson is personalised to the student’s needs. Whether you are struggling with difficult topics, aiming for top grades, preparing for exams, or looking to strengthen your scientific understanding, I will create a structured approach to help you progress.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on active learning. Rather than simply memorising information, I help students understand the “why” behind scientific processes so they can answer questions with confidence.

I highly recommend Kourosh as a science tutor. He tutored me in Chemistry for A-level, and I was able to boost my grade from a C to an A! Can't recommend him enough. If you are struggling and want to boost your grade in time for your exams, Kourosh can definitely help. He was well-prepared for every lesson and was ready to help with all the bits I have always struggled with.

I had a great experience being tutored by Kourosh for GCSE Biology and Chemistry. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient and explained difficult concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way that my school teachers couldn’t do. His lessons helped me improve my confidence, strengthen my understanding of key topics, and develop better exam techniques which really helped me improve my grades when it came to my exams

I would highly recommend Kourosh to anyone studying GCSE Science who wants to improve their knowledge, build confidence, and achieve better results.
