About Lola
I am Lola. I am an actor and teacher who specialises in drama and acting - with a particular love for Shakespeare. As such, I have a great knowledge of drama and theatre history, poetry and the Classics.
I have received postgraduate acting training from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I have a good knowledge of drama school entrance technique, including monologue preparation, acting exercises, and good practices. I have been trained in proper Shakespearean delivery, vocal choices, Meisner, psychological realism, etc.
I am an experienced drama teacher, having worked in a school in the South West. In this work, I was an inspiring (if a little eccentric) presence to my students, offering them classes which were fun and creative, as well as informative. As an actor myself, I am not interested in boring lessons - I think lessons should be mini-theatre!
