About Jemima
After graduating with a Science degree, I have looked back on my school years and appreciate the daunting nature of science lessons at school. I think a boost in confidence brings you a lot closer to the subject and shows that hard work is rewarding. I am currently employed in clinical research, but enjoy going back to GCSE/A-Level to help immerse others in the world of science.

Hello! I am a friendly, positive tutor that aims at increasing children's confidence in science. Typical lessons are 1-2 hours and are tailored to suit your needs. I explain the specification and how to match work around it. We use lots of drawing and interactive activities to maintain engagement and improve memory. I can also provide exam practice, if there is a mini test or summer exam approaching. Please contact for any questions, I look forward to hearing from you!

Perfect! She was really good at explaining things in a tangible way
- Thank you for the lesson, we will focus on timetabling for revision, and how to use the time effectively this week. In the coming weeks we will also review some exam style questions, and how the mark schemes and specification can help.Jemima's response :
